Take a break and enjoy an afternoon at our monthly Mākeke at Volcano Winery.
Saturday, August 9th, from 12:00–4:00 p.m.
As summer winds down, there's no better time to enjoy the cool mountain air and spend an afternoon in Volcano. Sip your favorite Volcano Winery wines while exploring a wonderful selection of local vendors, handcrafted goods, and island-made products.
We're thrilled to feature Pali Mai Tai, bringing live music and feel-good island vibes, the perfect backdrop for a relaxing afternoon at the winery.
Mahalo to our incredible vendors who make each Mākeke a celebration of Hawaiʻi's creativity and craftsmanship. This community gathering also supports Volcano School of Arts & Sciences, helping foster creativity, learning, and opportunity for our keiki.
Enjoy a glass of your favorite Volcano Winery wine, browse unique artisan treasures, listen to live music, and spend a beautiful afternoon with friends and family surrounded by the natural beauty of Volcano. We look forward to welcoming you for another memorable Mākeke!

A special mahalo to everyone who took on the mechanical bull—it was a crowd favorite and brought plenty of laughs throughout the day! And a huge shout-out to Briana from Volcano Winery for hosting her delicious Brews & Bites experience and the always-popular Cork Crafting Corner, where keiki had the chance to get creative and make their own unique masterpieces.

Pō'aono Pā'ina
Every 4th Saturday Party
Make the most of these final weeks of summer at our monthly Pāʻina, held every fourth Saturday from 2:00–5:00 PM. Gather with friends and family in our scenic outdoor picnic area for an afternoon of live local music, delicious food vendors, award-winning wines, and the welcoming spirit of Volcano Winery.
This free community event is open to everyone from keiki to kūpuna. Bring a picnic blanket, unwind with a glass or bottle of your favorite Volcano Winery wine, and enjoy an afternoon filled with local flavors, great entertainment, and even better company.
Our September Wine Club quarter is just around the corner, so keep an eye out for details on your upcoming club release and member-exclusive offerings.

Weekends Throughout July & August 2026 - Obon (Bon Dance) Season
Location: Various Buddhist Temples Islandwide (Hilo, Kona, Waimea, Hāmākua, Hāwī)
Join local communities in this cherished Japanese Buddhist tradition featuring taiko drumming, traditional Bon dancing, lanterns, cultural performances, and local food booths. Visitors are welcome to participate.

Volcano Thursday Market – Every Thursday
Location: Cooper Center, Volcano Village
Browse fresh island produce, handmade crafts, local artwork, baked goods, food vendors, and enjoy live local music in the heart of Volcano Village.

KMC Monday Trivia Night
Volcano Winery wine will proudly sponsor the KMC Monday Trivia Nights. Located at the Lava Lounge Bar & Grill at the Kilauea Military Camp within Hawaii's Volcano National Park Monday nights from 5pm- 7pm.

We are always looking for local food trucks and music. There will no vendor fee at the Saturday afternoon parties for food vendors. There is a $30 vendor fee for our Sunday Market days. Half of the vendor fees for our Sunday markets go to help fund the Volcano School of Arts and Sciences to help with supporting programs to help educate students about we can apply mālama i ka ' āina in our community.

We are excited to announce our monthly Pā'ina for all to enjoy! We will be offering wine club members a exclusive taste of the wine maker's choice pick of the season during these events. If you are interested in joining our club 'ohana you can sign up anytime! Subscribe to receive 3 bottles quarterly! No sign up fee and cancelation fees.
